Removal of Lethal Netting

The netting on top of Walthamstow Library, put there to deter birds, was sadly trapping

and killing many of them.  After campaigning by members of Waltham Forest Animal Protection

and Waltham Forest and Redbridge Green Party, we are pleased to report that the netting was

removed in November 2014.

If you see a bird trapped in netting, or find a sick, injured or orphaned bird, then please call

London Widlife Protection. Click here for contact details.
